While several companies have announced that they will hold a digital replacement for the now-canceled E3 2020, Bethesda has opted to not do so.
This confirmation comes directly from Bethesda’s head of marketing, Pete Hines, who announced via Twitter earlier today. Instead, it would seem that the company has plans to make planned announcements throughout the year.
Given the many challenges we're facing due to the pandemic, we will not host a digital Showcase in June. We have lots of exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.

While this may seem like a disappointment to many, especially those who were looking forward to more information on The Elder Scrolls 6, Deathloop (Arkane) and Ghostwire: Tokyo (Tango Gameworks), this makes a lot of sense. We’re still in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and trying to put something like this together doesn’t seem as important as trying to stay healthy and alive.
I think Bethesda has the right idea.
