Alien Isolation on the go, hell yeah!
One of my favorite survival horror games is making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
A direct follow-up to the ‘ALIEN’ film Alien Isolation follows the antics of the daughter of Ellen Ripley, Amanda Ripley, as she heads off into space to find her mother. There’s of canon from the ALIEN universe, and it stays faithful to the series, unlike some other games. Trust me, this game is good. It’s also one of the best games in the genre, with lots of suspenseful moments, and a crafty alien (curse that damned AI) that will hound you relentlessly. Oh, and try as you may, you can’t kill that damned alien and weapons are few and far in-between.
Update: The port is being handled by Feral Interactive, which is the same studio that worked on the Switch port of Grid Autosport (2019).
Now Switch owners will get the chance to play this game and maybe, just maybe Sega and Creative Assembly will finally grace us with a worthwhile follow-up. Not that mobile game crap they released a while back.
Alien Isolation will be released for the Switch on December 5th, 2019 and is priced at $34.99. It’s available for pre-order now via the Nintendo eShop (17.7GB) and looks like this is a digital-only release. The game also includes all seven of the previously released DLC; one of which casts you as Ripley on one last mission about the Nostromo in Last Survivor.
I can’t wait to see some footage of people getting stressed because that Alien won’t leave them alone.
