Crunchyroll announced two new titles coming to their streaming service during the fall anime season! Here are their latest additions:
Food Wars! The Fourth Plate
Synopsis: Yukihira Soma was sharpening his cooking skills while working at his family’s restaurant, Yukihira Diner and entered the super-elite cooking school, Totsuki Teahouse Culinary Academy. While at the school, Soma encountered various other chefs and continued to grow, but things changed drastically as soon as Nakiri Azami took over as the school’s new director. He establishes Central, and the students become unable to cook freely anymore. Soma and his friends decide to fight back against how Central is handling things, which turns them into rebels.
And now, the time for their 2nd-year exams have arrived. Despite being put into one unfair situation after another, Soma and his friends keep pushing through, but Central also refuses to stop. Some of Soma’s friends end up expelled from the school. To try to turn things around, Soma and his friends challenge the new Totsuki Elite Ten to a Group Shokugeki.
Soma’s team have a huge victory in the first match, but things have only just begun. Enter the 2nd bout! Will Soma and his team be able to take the Elite Ten’s spots and save their friends?

True Cooking Master Boy
Synopsis: During the 19th century China, the protagonist, Liu Maoxing, wins the title of Super Chef and is the youngest to do so in history. His master, Zhou Yu, suggests that he broaden his skills as a chef even more, so he goes on a journey around China with his friends Shirou and Meili. After returning, he also teams up with Xie Lu and Lei En to fight the Underground Cooking Society. He then learns the secret about the 8 Legendary Cooking Tools. In the past, Mao’s mother, Bei, had wished for everyone’s happiness and fought against the Underground Cooking Society. In order to continue his mother’s wishes and protect the Legendary Cooking Utensils from the Underground Cooking Society, Mao and his friends go on a journey…

In addition to the two new shows, Crunchyroll also announced a new event called NARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVE 2019. This is a special event celebrating the 20th anniversary of Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The event will play host to special live stages with artists performing themes from both Naruto and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations as well as a stage play and a live reading of original story episodes!
