While we haven’t heard much on Koei Tecmo’s upcoming demon-slaying action-RPG Nioh 2, the game is still very much alive.
In fact, the company has released several screenshots from the upcoming game. Several, if not all, of them, are from the recent Nioh 2 alpha that I sadly didn’t get a chance to check out. However, over 50,000 people did, with 18,000 sending back some input from their playtime.
In addition to the screenshots, KT has mentioned that we’ll get updated info on Nioh 2 on August 29, 2019. While at the 2019 Tokyo Game Show, a new playable demo will be available for those attending the show. No word if this demo will be made available outside of the event.

As of now, Nioh 2 is still slated as a PlayStation 4-only release. Much like the original game, that eventually made its way to the PC later during the year. Something that we suspect will happen with the sequel as well. That is if it’s not announced to release alongside the PS4 version.
