The original Monster Rancher was confirmed to launch on Switch sometime this year in Japan, according to the latest issue of Nintendo Dream.
We know almost nothing, other than it’s confirmed for the Switch. Since Nintendo Dream is dedicated to Nintendo consoles, Monster Rancher could be coming to other platforms. Since Monster Rancher relied on inserting other discs into your PS1 and PS2, it will be interesting to see how this port works.
Monster Rancher originally released on the PlayStation and even though there have been 14 different games since it’s release. We haven’t seen a game in the series see the light of day since Dec. 15, 2011.
No mention if we’ll see Monster Rancher on the Switch see a Western release as of yet.
