Welcome to another episode of the Spectator Podcast, the Outerhaven’s weekly podcast where we talk the latest news, topics and everything else that’s video games.
Recently, EA has been making the rounds and trying to tell people that loot boxes aren’t really a bad thing. Nah, instead they’re perfectly fine and are surprise mechanics that gamers everywhere love. Well, we don’t believe the hype and we’re not too thrilled about EA’s rather crappy tactics. Speaking of crappy tactics, we jump into what would happen if gaming would be taking over by streaming. We don’t mean Twitch streaming, but all your games being played via the all-mighty cloud. We’re not completely convinced we’re ready for that. Oh, and Keith recaps how much money he’s spent via Kickstarter and gets a bit sadder on the inside.
Lastly, this show is a bit PG-13, as there are a few swears it in. We’re all grown adults here, nothing you haven’t heard before.
