Despite internet trolls, April Fool’s jokes and fake Twitter accounts, we can safely say that it was officially announced today on Adult Swim’s official Facebook page that Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon’s cartoon series Rick and Morty will be officially returning for an official fourth season in November… officially.
In case it isn’t clear… this is not a drill. This is official!
While a specific day was not mentioned, we at least know that we only have to wait six whole long months before we get to see more crazy adventures.
Adult Swim released a promotional video for the upcoming season voiced by Justin Roiland who, like normal, breaks the fourth wall with his characters:
