Nintendo has just announced its E3 2019 plans. Starting on June 8th, 2019, the company kick off its E3 2019 content, which consists of a handful of gaming tournaments and several streaming events.
First is the Splatoon 2 World Championship that starts on June 8th, 2019. It will be streamed at 11 AM PT / 1 PM EST. Followed by the Smash Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3. It is supposed to start after the Splatoon 2 tournament at 2 PM PDT 5 ET, but it could start late.
Following the tournaments is when we’ll start to see some looks at what Nintendo has planned for 2019 and beyond. Staring with the Nintendo Direct, which takes place on June 11 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. That’s not all, as Nintendo has come prepared and will also host the Nintendo Treehouse: Live, starting on June 11. This will run for three days and sounds pretty dang exciting.
I wonder what Nintendo is going to show. Hopefully, we’ll finally get word on a new Animal Crossing, while I’m still holding out for some sort of F-Zero announcement. Yes, I know I’m kidding myself but I can dream. We should get more information on the upcoming Astral Chain, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Daemon X Machina, Metroid Prime 4 and more.
So save the dates if you’re a Nintendo fan. You won’t want to miss any of this. As for us, expect to another classic Nintendo Entertainment Podcast to recap it all. Don’t miss that either.
