We’re almost there, true believers. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is headed to theaters this April 26th, and the hype train is picking up more speed. Everyone who’s been following the MCU over the past twenty-sum movies has waited for this day ever since Thanos snapped his fingers. So what does Marvel do? They’ve released yet another short teaser. An actual clip from the film.
Following up to their most recent trailer, we’ve cut into a discussion with Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, War Machine, Bruce Banner (sans Hulk) and newcomer, Captain Marvel. A discussion which is laying the groundwork for the plan that could actually turn the tide and help defend Thanos…. and fix everything from the snap.
During that conversation, it seems some attitude gets tossed around when said plan was discussed. Because just going to Thanos and taking his stones seems like suicide. To which Captain Marvel assures everyone things will be different because she’s here now. War Machine, now clearly frustrated, asks Captain Marvel where the heck as she been during all this time? A valid question, right? It’s also a question that many fans have been asking ever since ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
Well, she pretty much tells War Machine that there’s a lot of planets out there and they weren’t lucky enough to have the Avengers protecting them. So basically, while they were watching out for one planet, she’s been protecting various planets. Ouch, that has to burn.
But seriously, what else could we believe? At the end of ‘Captain Marvel’ (no not that one, this one) she left with the Skrulls to round up the rest and find them a new home. That predates most of the MCU movies, with the exception of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’. Speaking of which, Steve let’s lose a curse word….. I hope he didn’t kiss his mother with that mouth.
My only gripe with that is she wasn’t the only one watching out for the galaxy. I mean, what exactly were the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ during all this time? They pretty much saved the entire galaxy, twice now. Quill’s going to be pissed when he finds out she said that. Oh wait, this is all pretty much his fault anyway.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26 and I’ve already got my tickets. Did you get yours?
