It was announced by Warner Bros. on Monday that Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara has resigned from the company. The resignation came in the middle of allegations that Tsujihara was involved in a sex scandal with actress Charlotte Kirk in order to secure roles and auditions for her.
WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey made a statement saying that Tsujihara’s actions are inconsistent with the company’s expectations regarding its leadership. WarnerMedia, owned by AT&T after their acquisition of Time Warner, did not provide a statement as of yet over Tsujihara’s resignation. Tsujihara’s duties also include overseeing all of WarnerMedia-licensed products.
There is no word as of yet if or when there will be a replacement hired or appointed for Tsujihara.
