The Nintendo Switch is a hit no matter what way you look at it. It’s barely into its third year and it’s already had well over a dozen games hitting over 1 million in sales. It’s had multiple Game of the Year nominations and other awards and award wins. Plus, in terms of hardware sales, it’s well over 32 million. So what would Nintendo do next for the system?
Well, a report by the Wall Street Journal claims that the Big N is aiming to release two new versions of the system this year. One with “enhanced” features for hardcore gamers, and one with lesser features tailored towards casual gamers.
Also, the source says that the new Nintendo Switch models will look a bit different than the original version that’s out now.
As in all things though, this is a rumor, even if it’s by WSJ, and it should be taken with some skepticism.
