The low polygon count costumes of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield for Resident Evil 2 Remake are now available for download.
As we reported on before, Capcom had plans to release these costumes at a later date for the game. However, this led to the discussion if the company was introducing microtransactions into the game. All of which was due to the existence of these costumes, as well as the swap soundtrack being listed in the Microsoft Store. That’s neither here or there, as Capcom has finally released those retro costumes and they’re now available dow download via PlayStation Store, Xbox Live and Steam. They’re currently free as well, so I’d recommend you download them. Even if you don’t have any plans to use them. You never know if they might end up costing something in the future.

Speaking of the costumes, we’ve recorded a short video that shows how they look. You can check out that video below.
Resident Evil 2 or Resident Evil 2 Remake as it’s officially called, is a completely revamped remake of the 1998 classic PlayStation title. All the scares and action of the original title brought into the modern age and a title that I haven’t put down yet. I’ve run through the Fourth Survivor and even managed to get my S and S+ ranks finally completed. There’s even a new DLC that released today, that gives you the chance to play as one of three survivors. You encountered one of them when you passed through the Kendo Gunshop if you played Leon’s Campaign.
Resident Evil 2 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
