So, if you haven’t already heard by now, the people on the internet are hearing rumors that there might be a Nintendo Direct (finally) heading our way next week. And the main reason gamers want this is so that they can watch the Direct and get more information about many upcoming Nintendo Switch titles. Some of the biggest ones being Fire Emblem Three Houses, Luigi’s Mansion 3, the Pokemon RPG core title, and Animal Crossing.
But, for Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing, we may already know when they’re coming out this year. According to a British retailer called Base (and screenshotted by Demon Gaming), they had listing up saying that the third Luigi’s Mansion title is coming on July 19th (which is a Friday) and that Animal Crossing (title still pending) will arrive September 13th.
Now, granted, the listings have been taken down, and all listings like this should be taken with a grain of salt. But, given that this was “found” around the time of the rumors of the Nintendo Direct is enough to give us pause and make us wonder if it is true.
And, unlike other listings, they don’t have a “generic” date, they have very specific ones that line up with when Nintendo likes to release games during the week.
Either way, we’ll find out soon what’s really going on. In the meantime, hear what we have to say about the latest Nintendo news via the newest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!
