Well, there you have it, folks! After asking, begging and even demanding that Nintendo get YouTube onto the Switch. I have two words for you; It’s here!
All you have to do is head on over to the eShop and download the app today. The app supports up to 1080p, however, after putting it through the paces. I noticed it doesn’t support 60fps playable on videos. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have.
It’s pretty slick. It’s the same YouTube experience that you’re used to on smart devices. You can also use both the Joy-Con’s or the touchscreen for controlling the app.
Kick back and relax with @YouTube on your #NintendoSwitch. Enjoy entertainment like music videos and shows, plus gaming livestreams, how-to guides and much more. YouTube is now available to download from Nintendo #eShop.

YouTube joins Hulu in terms of media consumption on the Switch. I wonder if that means that Netflix, Spotify, and possibly even Plex are next. Well, Nintendo, are they?
