Kirby Star Allies: Wave 3 Update Coming this November 30th

By Zachery PaikaiNovember 8, 2018

Kirby Star Allies’ Wave 3 update will be releasing this November 30th, offering three new characters and a brand new game mode. Oh, and there’s no need to pull out a few Haltmann from your wallet because this update is absolutely free of charge. Looks like there’s still more fun to be had in the wonderful world of Dreamland!

Three familiar antagonists are returning to aid Kirby in his adventures, Magolor from Kirby: Return to Dreamland, Taranza from Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and Susie from Kirby: Planet Robobot.

Seeing Taranza play in-game is particularly interesting; this spideresque villain was never directly fought in his respective game as the other two characters are. He only ever manipulated bosses to coax them into attacking our pink puffball.

Regardless of past grievances, Kirby doesn’t really seem to mind who runs with his crew, whether that be friend or foe. And with the inclusion of the “Heroes from Another Dimension” game mode, Kirby will need every helping hand available to him at the ready.

Wispy is fed up with the years of abuse hes endured Introducing new forms to previous bosses from the base game

This new game mode is set to be a challenging endeavor which only becomes available to players after completing  Story mode. Every character or “Dream Friend” is now finally playable and possibly mandatory in specific scenarios that cater to a certain character’s abilities. Or perhaps a switch is forced upon players after entering doors with the characters’ portrait indicated above them. Seems like a good time overall, especially with reworks of bosses that now seem to possess some sort of dark nega-form. Which is probably a whole lot more dangerous to deal with.

Wave 3 of Kirby Star Allies will be launching this November 30th.

From the Hawaiian islands, Nanaue, the Prince of Sharks first appeared. This shark man was uncontested in terms of video game prowess. His notoriety of being a top-tier game wiz angered the envious locals and eventually forced Nanaue into exile. His hunger for competition and game knowledge grew as time past. This in tow, leads him to delve into the sea of writing and gaming culture.
