Last week, Nintendo had scheduled a Nintendo Direct that was going to focus on both their Switch and 3DS offerings. Sadly, not only was a typhoon hammering the country of Japan, but an earthquake has a severe impact on Hokkaido, Japan. Due to this, Nintendo had postponed the broadcast out of respect for the recent cataclysmic events.
They recently let us know that this Nintendo Broadcast has officially been rescheduled for September 13, 2018. Which happens to be tomorrow. I don’t know about you, but I’m still holding off for a port of F-Zer0 GX from the Gamecube to the Switch.
The Nintendo Direct initially scheduled for Sept. 6 will now debut this Thursday, Sept. 13, at 3 p.m. PT. The broadcast will last approximately 35 minutes, and will feature information about upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch titles. In addition, they’re also announced that their online service for North America will begin next Tuesday, September 18. A free 7-day trial will be available for current Nintendo account holders once the service starts up.
