Update: Previously we talked about the system requirements for Battlefield V and how it was stated these specs may not be official. However, with the BFV open beta starting later this week, it seems that the actual requirements have been released. While these may not be for the full game, they are for the beta and they’re directly from EA. You’ll notice that minimum specs are the same as the rumored or leaked minimum specs. The only difference is now we have a recommended specs now. Of course, these requirements require a bit more powerful hardware power. These specs can also be seen on EA’s website, here.
That said, these specs could definitely change after the beta.

Will the real minimum PC requirements please step forward
With the Battlefield V open beta set to release very shortly, I’m sure that more than a few PC gamers will be wanting to make sure their PC is up to the challenge. But not to worry, we got your back as always.
It wasn’t too long ago that the minimum specs to run Battlefield V were leaked, which you can find below. What we don’t know is what the recommended specs are. Still, I’m pretty confident that once the pre-load for the Battlefield V beta starts, EA will provide those to us.
Minimum PC Requirements
- Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10
- Processor: Core i5 6600K / AMD FX-6350
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
- DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online connection requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Hard-drive space: 50GB
That said, you may want to take these with a grain of salt as EA’s Global Community Engagement Manager, Dan Mitre, has stated that these leaked specs are a bit off. It could be telling the truth or he could be trying to throw people off. Either way, I find it a bit silly that a potential blockbuster title like Battlefield V is nearly upon us. Yet, we don’t have any concrete PC requirements. We’re a few days away from the open beta, I sure hope they plan on letting us know something.
Recently, incorrect minimum PC specs for #Battlefield V were published as placeholders. We haven’t announced our minimum or recommended specs for Battlefield V yet. Stay tuned!
