Activision just sent over the word that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta will be starting on September 10th, 2018. Just like this past week’s beta, it will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4. At least for the first round.
If you’ve had a chance to partake in the previous beta then there’s nothing you’ll need to do for the Blackout beta. It will automatically be updated, so you’re good to go.
Prepare accordingly.#Blackout pic.twitter.com/X70KVQ75gU

For those who don’t know, Blackout’s is Battle Royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. In this gameplay mode, players will get a chance to play on what will be the largest map ever in the game’s series. In addition, it will feature a completely different way to regain your health during combat. Outside of that, we don’t know much about the mode.
Though, I’m sure we’ll find out more during the upcoming Gamescom 2018 and PAX West 2018, which both taking place at the end of the month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 12, 2018.
