Select Samsung Devices Can Join Fortnite Beta Today; Wider Android Beta to Come
We knew this day was coming, folks. Fortnite Battle Royale has officially landed on Android devices, with the beta hitting Samsung Galaxy Devices today.
Samsung Galaxy owners will get the first invites beginning today – rolling out as of the writing of this article. In addition, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Tab S4 owners will get access to the new Galaxy Outfit.
Over the next few days, other supported Android devices will be getting access to the beta. Interested players can sign up for the beta at Fortnite.com/Android.
As reported previously, Fortnite will not be available through the Google Play Store. Samsung Galaxy owners can download the installer via the Samsung App Marketplace. Fortnite on Android supports cross play and cross progression with Xbox One, Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 Mac, and iOS.
Outside of the Samsung Galaxy family of phones, supported phones include:
