Shueisha announced in their Weekly Young Jump magazine that Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul series will be receiving a video game this Winter!
The game is set to be a third-person action survival game called Tokyo Ghoul:re – Call to Exist. The game is said to contain stories from both Tokyo Ghoul’s parent and sequel manga. The game will also feature an online multiplayer mode as well. The only system announced for this game is PlayStation 4 meaning that it may be exclusive to that console. There was no mention if this would available on PC but then again, this is the Japanese version of the game. If the game does come to the West, there may be a PC port of it as with most games that come from Japan. Outside of this, there are no additional details about the game just yet, such as who is developing and/or publishing the title nor is there any information about an exact release date.
Tokyo Ghoul:re’s manga is scheduled to end in roughly two chapters from this post. The first season of the anime recently wrapped up with its second part airing this October.
