Island Reveals Opening Theme During New Promotional Video

Looking for an anime to add this summer? Consider picking up Island, an anime in the works by ‘Studio Feel’. Island has recently released their second promotional video and this one showcases their opening theme: ‘Eien no Hitotsu’ by Yukari Tamura. Other works ‘Studio Feel’ is known for is the popular Dagashi Kashi and current season popular Hinamatsuri. ‘Anime News Network’ summarizes Island as the following:

Urashima, an island far from the mainland. The people who live there lead carefree lives. But five years ago, the island’s three great families suffered a series of misfortunes, and succumbed to suspicion. The people of the island cut off all contact with the mainland, and began a slow decline. The key to saving the island lies in three girls who belong to the three families. But they are bound by old traditions, and are conflicted. On that island, a lone man washes ashore. The man claims to be from the future, and he begins a solitary struggle to change the island’s fate.

Visual Novel

Island is an adaptation of a visual novel created by ‘Front Wing’. It was released in Japan on April 28, 2016 on PC. The game, like most visual novels, consists of text-based reading over beautiful imagery. It does have the player make a decision which leads to different events to happen during the story.

She thinks very highly of herself, even regarding that she is a “princess”. Although deemed positively her tragic backstory is what makes her character so interesting. After dealing with spirits she bears a secret that she shan’t tell a soul. Follow Ohara on her journey and the burden she carries.
