Not too long ago, Sega took to the interwebs to officially announce Team Sonic Racing. This new racer from Sega will introduce team-based racing, 15 characters (so far).
It will also feature 4 player split-screen, offline and online racing modes, as well as a Grand Prix Mode, Exhibition Mode, Time-Trial and Team Adventure Mode. Sumo Digital, the very same developer who worked on Sonic Racing: Transformed, will be developing the title.
While we received a trailer before, this the first time we’ve gotten a bit more gameplay. Here we can see some of the tracks we’ll be racing on. As well as several of the cars in motion. In addition, Crush 40 returns to provide a sample of the theme song for the title.
Check it out below.
E3 attendees are encouraged to stop by the SEGA & ATLUS Booth at West Hall #5222 from June 12 – 14, to hit the track with Sonic and Friends and take Team Sonic Racing for a spin.
Team Sonic Racing will be released on the PS4, Xbox One, PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch, later this year.
