While Disney only gave us a quick taste of what was in store for Wreck-It Ralph’s second adventure, ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’. Nothing could prepare us for the trailer that they just released onto the internet today. If you were mildly interested then, you’re going to be drooling after you check out this recently released trailer.
Wreck-It Ralph and his comrade in insults, Vanellope von Schweetz, venture out from the arcade and onto the internet. Here, the duo finds that things aren’t completely different and are fascinated with this whole new world. Bigger, better and a whole lot stranger, but definitely cool. This new trailer introduces to a few new things such as “Oh My Disney”, a website that is super intense and nuts.
It’s here where we get a glimpse of several Disney properties such as Ironman (who makes a cameo), Eeyore (Winne the Pooh), Star Wars, The Muppets, Pixar and even the Disney Princesses. Yes, the Princesses are front and center here and very humorous. Even if they are a bit overly excitable. I loved that bit (1:34) and Is Disney implying that Vanellope von Schweetz is the next Disney Princess? Hmm, that could be very interesting.
Also, was that a jab at Google’s search engine that auto-fills in what you’re looking for… even when you aren’t looking for something?
Here’s the official synopsis for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.
“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.” Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Cedar Rapids,” co-writer “Zootopia,”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-Ralph 2” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will be released on Thanksgiving, November 22, 2018.
