A very interesting twist on the well-known concept of isekai. Such an interesting concept that the light novel the anime adaptation will originate from has been revealed to have sold 4.5 million copies in print. This is quite an impressive feat for the novel and it is expected that the series will have an increase in popularity this fall after it’s anime adaptation releases.

Then lucky for you, the twelfth volume of author Fuze and artist Mitz Vah’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel series has been scheduled to begin having volumes shipped this Friday. If manga is more your style, then you’ll be happy to hear that the manga adaptation written by Taika Kawakami will also be released this Friday.
For those of you who can’t get enough of the series will be happy to hear that the novel inspired a spinoff called; That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime – How Monsters Walk. This spinoff was created by Sho Okagiri and will have its third volume released this Friday as well.
