During the Anime Boston event on Friday, VIZ Media announced that they have acquired the license for the upcoming K: Seven Stories film series. VIZ will have the license to distribute all six films in North America in physical and digital formats. They have also received the rights to any merchandising for all previous installments of the series. There are no releases dates as of yet for when the films will be released here in America, but they will begin airing in Japanese theaters starting on July 7 with the other films airing on August 4, September 1, October 6, November 3 and December 1 respectively.
GoHands, the studio that has animated the entire series thus far, will be returning to animate all six of the movies.
