To celebrate the 1-year anniversary of NieR: Automata, the man himself, Yoko Taro, has a special message. While the video seems to be your typical Yoko Taro flair, it’s actually pretty interesting. Oh yeah, he’s crazy but passionate. I guess that’s why I respect him and enjoy his games. That message is that Square Enix is planning a bunch of fan events surrounding NieR: Automata.
Kinda cool, isn’t it?
Apparently, those events are scribbled down on a piece of paper, that only Taro has access to. And he didn’t share with us said paper. So we have no idea what kind of events are being planned. I can only hope that these events aren’t Japan-specific and that all fans of NieR: Automata will be able to partake in them. I’m a huge fan of the game, and the reception of the title in North America has been nothing short of amazing. So don’t forget us, ok, Square Enix! And while you’re at it, how about that patch for the PC version you promised us.
Um, can he actually see in that mask? And if so, I totally want one. Say, Yoko Taro, can you hook me up with one?
NieR: Automata is currently available for the PS4 and PC (Steam). And if you’re curious about the game, then be sure to check out our review here.
