SOMA Finally Heads To The Xbox One

By Keith MitchellNovember 17, 2017
Soma on Xbox One

After two years of being available on the PlayStation 4 and PC, SOMA heads to the Xbox One. The game will be available on December 1st, 2017. In SOMA, you explore the depths of the ocean as you attempt to unravel and piece together what happened to humanity. It’s a horrifying yet enjoyable experience, similar to that of Dead Space and Alien Isolation. However, the Xbox One will be getting a new feature.

That feature called is ” Safe Mode” is being added. Not much is know about this, other than Frictional Games calling it a new way to play SOMA. It will apparently let you explore more of the game without worrying about dying so much. Sadly, that seems like it will remove much of the suspense as well. In addition, this new feature will also make its way over to the PC.

No word if SOMA will also support the Xbox One X, at least not yet. And while you’re here, check out our review of SOMA on the PC.

SOMA is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. For more info on the game, head over to the Frictional Games website.
