By now you’ve either heard about the upcoming Destiny 2 or even played the beta on the PS4 or Xbox One. But what you haven’t done, unless you’ve been lucky enough to head out to various gaming events, is play the PC version of the game. Well, as of August 29th, 2017, that all changes as for the first time ever, Destiny will make its way to the PC. But before it does, we’re going to have some fun with the beta.
Just like the PS4 and Xbox One Destiny 2 beta, the PC beta will have access to the opening cinematic story campaign, the three-player cooperative Strike Inverted Spire, as well as some 4v4 Crucible action.
Now, we’ve had a chance to check it out during E3 2017 and we were impressed with what we played. Despite being very limited, the Destiny 2 PC teaser provided access to 4K@60fps, as well as being able to use a keyboard and mouse setup. Trust me, it was simply amazing and soon, everyone else will finally be able to get the chance to play it.
Come August 29th, the PC beta will run for one week. Letting all PC gamers to see what we’re so excited about and if you pre-ordered the game, you’ll get access even sooner. 24 hours ahead of the open beta to be exact, but you aren’t being forced to pre-order. So if you don’t want to, then don’t. Bungie isn’t hanging this over your head folks. I can’t wait to get my hands on the game again and if enjoy first person shooters, you shouldn’t miss it either.
Destiny 2 releases on October 24th, 2017, for the PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions release on September 6th, 2017.
