While we already knew the Microsoft was working on ReCore: Definitive Edition, as it was previously leaked. Well, today we finally have official confirmation of the titles’ existence. On top of that announcement during Xbox @ Gamescom 2017 live stream, We now know the title will support an increased resolution, as well as HDR. They didn’t come out and say 4K was supported, but we can only hope that it is.
There will also be a new adventure for the ReCore crew to go check out as well.
The title will be priced at $20 and will be released on August 29th. Owners of the original ReCore title will receive the upgrade for free – I know this was a question that was asked a lot. Meaning, if you spot a copy of ReCore under $20, pick it up and get the upgrade for free.
As a bonus announcement, ReCore: Definitive Edition will be playable via Xbox Game Pass.
