Who saw this one coming? ATLUS has released news in their next entries in the Persona Dancing All Night series, namely: Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night. Notice that there is no “all” before night. They also showed off their first trailers for the game as well, showing the main cast of both games strutting their stuff.
Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night
This is definitely a surprise, given the game’s subject matter of death and self destruction. But oh man is good to hear Burn My Dread once again. Plus when you think about it, the main character’s signature headphones works well for the game. Here we see the Hero, Junpei Iori, Yukari Takeba, and Aigis showing off their moves to the remix of Burn My Dread by Lotus Juice and Yumi Kawamura. Seeing the locales of Gekkoukan High and Paulownia Mall is sure to get the fans nostalgic. Now all we need now in the future is an English release announcement with all voice actors reprising their roles. Keep your fingers crossed!
Persona 5 Dancing Star Night
No, I will not go to sleep tonight Morgana! This was an easy one, given the success of the original game. Plus with the amazing tracks like Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There! and the general focus on Jazz, it just works so well for a dancing game. Might I bring attention the remix version used in this trailer? It’s just so catchy and energetic, you jut can’t help but dance! Shown off here is Joker, Ryuji Sakamoto, Ann Tamaki and Makoto Nigima in the setting of Shibuya and Kamoshida’s Castle. What other remixes will they bring to this entry? I cannot wait.
Both games are coming for Spring of 2018 for PS4 and Vita. No word yet on an English release, but give the first game that came stateside, it’s only a matter of time I believe.
Persona Q 2
Also shown from ATLUS is a teaser image for the sequel for Persona Q Shadows of the Labyrinth , currently under the title Persona Q2. Not much is known about this game right now, but in the issue of Famitsu, they had an image of an outline of Joker in chibi form. All we know so far is that the cast of Persona 5 will be involved. We’ll be keeping a close eye as it develops. Currently announced for the Nintendo 3DS.
Lastly, as reported from the boss, ATLUS announce that A-1 pictures will be handling the creation of the Persona 5 anime in 2018.

Whether or not we will have an English dub is not yet set, but since we did get a dub for the Persona 4 anime, it seems to be likely in the future. Remember to tell ATLUS that we want it! Even Morgana’s English voice actress, Cassandra Lee Morris, wants the show to come as well on her YouTube video.
From the cross over with Blazblue Tag Battle, to the anime, to 3 new spinoff games. Needless to say, Persona fans will be quite busy in 2018.
