When ARMS was revealed to the world (check out our review!), it showed off an interesting set of playable characters. As more were revealed, the team noted that the game would be getting even more characters as free DLC. Then, at E3 2017, Producer Kosuke Yabuki revealed that the first of these DLC characters would be Max Brass.
Who is Max Brass? Well, he’s the Commissioner of the ARMS League, which is the league you play in in the game obviously. He has won the most matches in the league, period. In fact, he’s one of the final characters you play against in the Grand Prix mode. He’ll be coming out later this month in a free update, and Nintendo has released a new trailer for him.
Max Brass has styles similar to Spring Man and Master Mummy. He can buff himself up in order to not flinch when he takes hits. But also, when does take enough damage, his ARMS become permanently charged.
During an ARMS tournament in Japan today, outside of Max Brass being confirmed for this month, along with his stage also coming. Mr. Yabuki said that the game would also be getting new ARMS, a new game mode, and fixes to the online play. He wasn’t clear though whether this would be included in the Max Brass update this month or not though.
