Previously Microsoft had voided the original ticket winners of their Xbox FanFest 2017 contest. Apparently, there was an issue with the system, and it gave out way more tickets than it was supposed to. Meaning everyone who originally won, including myself, was out of luck. Microsoft eventually made good on this and promised that everyone who originally won a ticket would be provided with an E3 2017 pass.
Well, those passes are going out today, so be sure to check your email.
You’ll be provided a token that you’ll need to register to attend E3 2017. You’ll need to register online, as you won’t be able to do so at the event. And if you can’t make it to the event, you can also give those out to others since they’re not actual tickets. Lastly, keep in mind that this pass is strictly for E2 2017. Unlike the tickets for the Xbox FanFest, this token will not grant you access to the Xbox E3 briefing.
At this E3 2017 event, during Microsoft’s briefing, we’ll finally get the official name of Microsoft’s Project Scorpio. Not to mention getting some much-needed info on several Xbox One/Windows 10 games and more. If you’re an Xbox fan, you’ll want to check out this event. And if you can’t make it, that’s alright as the conference will be streamed via Microsoft’s very own streaming platform – Mixer (Formerly known as Beam), and in 4K!
