Nintendo has finally announced that they will not host a press conference at the upcoming 2017 E3 convention. This shouldn’t surprise anyone as Nintendo has already opted from doing events at E3 already and instead use their Treehouse live stream instead.
Finally, the video game tradeshow E3 will be held in Los Angeles this June. Again this year, we will not be hosting a large-scale press conference for institutional investors, analysts and the media. Nintendo of America will present further information on our plans at a later date.
While it is disappointing that Nintendo won’t have a conference, they’ll still have quite the presence at the event. When it comes to the big three, both Nintendo and Sony have the larger booths, when compared to Microsofts.
There’s no doubt that the company will have plenty to show off at E3 2017, especially the recently announced 2DS XL and the upcoming title, ARMS. Of course, we’re talking about Nintendo here, so who knows what else they have in store.
The company has been on a streak ever since the release of Nintendo Switch, and The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild. I don’t think Nintendo will let us down at E3, especially if they want to keep that streak alive.
Expect more news regarding Nintendo’s E3 2017 plans as they become available.
