In today’s Nintendo Direct, we finally have news on Amiibo including the long awaited three of Corrin, Cloud and Bayonetta. For the Smash Bros series, the last three characters will also have a variant and will be released on July 21. All I can say it’s about time! Look at that Female Corrin and Bayonetta! Be on the lookout for these!
Next is the Zelda series amiibo. It is now confirmed that there will be amiibo for the Link of Skyward Sword, Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess. This batch will be released on June 23. As hinted before by data miners, these amiibos will be compatible with Breath of the Wild to unlock new weapons and costumes from their respective game.
Next is Splatoon 2. Announced is the next series of Splatoon amiibo, but with a new twist. Notice the new Splat dualies gun. But with these amiibos, you are able to save the custom lodaout/costume and bring it with you to play elsewhere. If there was a good look you want to save and show off to your friends, get this amiibo . This will be released along side the game’s release on July 21! Yes! The same time as the Smash amiibos.
Lastly, we have for the new Pikmin game for the 3DS. It was boud to happen, but the little Pikmin will be receiving their own amiibo. This will unlocked new levels and other secrets for the game. This one will be released on July 28.
Prepare thy wallets gentleman for the Summer months! Amiibo fever is coming once again.
