Earlier today, Square Enix aired a Dragon Quest XI stream that revealed the release date for the upcoming title. The title is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and 3DS, on July 29th, 2017, in Japan.
Dragon Quest XI on the PlayStation 4 will be powered by EPIC Games’ Unreal Engine 4. There wasn’t any mention regarding a North American release date or the Switch version.
In addition, they also announced what’s being called the “Double Pack: Yuusha no Tsurugi Box ” or “Dragon Quest XI Double Pack: Hero Sword Box” and yes that is a mouthful. This special edition will include a copy of the game for both the PS4 and 3DS and is priced at 14,960 yen. For those looking to import this, it comes out to $135-140 dollars.
