Game Informer announced via their website today that Uncharted 4’s single-player DLC The Lost Legacy will be their April cover story. We have not heard from Naughty Dog on the Uncharted series since the The Lost Legacy’s announcement and lengthy gameplay demo as PSX last December. It is unclear what sorts of details Naughty Dog has revealed to Game Informer during their visit to the studio, but fans can stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
Uncharted 4 released almost a year ago and marked the final chapter of Nathan Drake’s adventure. Fans speculated the DLC’s protagonist and focus since the main game’s release. At PSX, we learned The Lost Legacy would follow Chloe Frazer, a series favorite who did not make an appearance in the main game. Uncharted 4’s Nadine Ross accompanies her in this new chapter on a job to India. We know the DLC is a standalone story, much like Naughty Dog’s single-player DLC for The Last of Us: Left Behind. A release date and pricing has yet to be shared.
How The Lost Legacy’s story relates to the main events of Uncharted 4 remains to be seen. When does it take place, and what brought Chloe and Nadine together? What is their job in India? The announcement was exciting, as players can explore the Uncharted universe as another character for the first time. Chloe has been a fan favorite since her introduction in the second game, so her return to the series is a welcome one. Players can learn more about her and Nadine’s adventures apart from Drake in Game Informer‘s April issue. Stay tuned this March for upcoming details.
