Sonic Mania Slips From Spring To Summer 2017

By Keith MitchellMarch 16, 2017

During the recent SXSW “Gotta Go Fast” Panel, Takashi Iizuka announced that Sonic Mania was getting a delay. Yes, folks, I’m as sad as you are that we’re going to have to wait just a tad longer. But Takashi assures us that the delay is to provide us Sonic The Hedgehog fans the best quality game that they can give us. Given the past history of several Sonic titles, I say this is definitely a positive thing.

This news comes alongside Project Sonic 2017 being renamed to Sonic Forces. Damn, I should have gotten more hands on with Sonic Mania during the recent PAX East 2017.

Damn it!

Sonic Mania is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC during Summer 2017.
