Last week, it was officially revealed that WB Games was working on a follow-up to Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. Previously all we received was a reveal trailer, all CGI and had nothing regarding the gameplay. WB Games claimed that a gameplay trailer would be released on March 8th, 2017. Well, today is that day and they definitely delivered on their promised. Instead of a one or two minute video, they’ve treated everyone to 16 minutes of gameplay. Detailing the revamped Nemesis system, showing off some new characters and more.
The title also supports Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere. Purchasing the title on the Xbox or Windows 10 store will give you access to the Xbox One and Windows PC version at launch.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War releases on August 22nd, 2017, on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. A Xbox Scorpio version was also announced and will be ready by the time Microsoft’s updated hardware is released.
