While it was announced previously, EA has finally detailed the early access of Mass Effect Andromeda for Origin and Access. Starting on March 16th, 2017, EA Origin (PC) and Access (Xbox) members will get early access to the title. This is five days before the official release of the game.
All subscribers to either service will have 10 hours of unrestricted gameplay with the upcoming space opera. While 10-hours may not seem like a lot of time, it still is considered a trial. Sure, it’s a paid trial, but it’s still better than paying $60 dollars and ultimately deciding you don’t like it. This is also great for PC gamers as they can gauge the PC performance of the game. As of now, the system requirements for Mass Effect Andromeda have not been released.
As always, all progression from the early access will carry over to the full game, should you choose to purchase it.
Mass Effect Andromeda s the fourth chapter in the Mass Effect series and takes place 600 years after the original trilogy. Mass Effect Andromeda is being released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 21st, 2017.
