The dates for this year’s QuakeCon 2017, have been revealed. This time, QuakeCon 2017 will run from August 24-27, 2017. The event will be hosted at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, located in Dallas, Texas.
As always, the event is free, however, if you want to bring your own computer it will cost you a little extra. QuakeCon 2017 will be hosted by ID Software as well as Bethesda Softworks. Of course, other than the kick-ass fun that you’ll have, QuakeCon is always known for showcasing new gaming tech or upcoming games. Last year we got to see DOOM 2016 running with the Vulkan API, on GTX 1080. At the time, that was simply amazing, hell it still is. So chances are, all attendances are going to see something fantastic. Hell, they may even see an update for Quake Champions, which still doesn’t have a release date.
Maybe one of these years, I’ll finally make my way down there, despite me saying that for the past 6 years now.
