Going into PlayStation Experience 2016, we weren’t 100% sure what to expect on the Marvel vs Capcom front. Well, in addition to Marvel vs Capcom Infinite being announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, we were also greeted with another announcement – a port of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. A title that many will remember as being pulled from digital shelves a few years back and why we haven’t seen the title available via Xbox One backward compatibility.
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is heading to PS4, Xbox One, and PC as well. Announced is that the port should v be available for PS4 as of today with Xbox One and PC versions available sometime in 2017. At the time of this article I didn’t see it available on the PSN store just yet, but fully expect to see it before the PlayStation Experience 2016 is over.
It looks like we won’t be getting just a port of the game as Capcom has mentioned that the title will also feature all of the available DLC, 1080p, and 60fps for all versions. The updated Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be a digital-only release and will be available for $24.99.
