Seagate is introducing a new 512GB external hard drive solution for Xbox One gamers, with an emphasis on faster booting and loading.
With games taking up 30-50GB on average, Xbox gamers are often making the hard decision on which games to delete and re-install on a regular basis, and as games continuously increase in size, the only option for gamers is to invest in an external solution, as the limited console HDD space isn’t the best.
In addition, the reliance on flash memory, as touted by Seagate, will improve the gaming experience by allowing games to get into the action quicker. The Seagate Game Drive “reduces waiting at welcome screens and enables quicker transitions between levels in top titles like Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4.”
