We’ve watched it, we’ve read about it and during PAX East 2016, we finally got a chance to play it. Yes, we’re talking about the follow-up to Shadow Warrior, Shadow Warrior 2. And now we have a release date for the title – October 13th, 2016, for PC. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases have not been given a release date as of yet.
Shadow Warrior 2 follows the antics of one Lo Wang, who shattered the alliance between his ex-boss and the ancient gods of the shadow realm five years ago. Thinking he was doing the right thing, he unwilling damaged the world and created it to where now both humans and demons live together… maybe not for the best. Developed by Flying Wild Hog, Shadow Warrior 2, is definitely a worthy follow-up, from what we played at PAX East 2016.
If you enjoyed the original, you’re going to enjoy this one just as well. Single player, four-player co-op, more weapons, armor and abilities are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Shadow Warrior 2.
And if you’re heading out to PAX West 2016, Shadow Warrior 2 will be there in playable form. Definitely, make sure you head over and check it out. You may not want to pass up the controls, be warned.
