When Koei Tecmo started adding characters from other fighting games, I was in shock. Besides Capcom and SNK, this wasn’t something that was typically done. First, they added several popular Virtua Fighter characters and then they went after the second most popular female fighting game character; Mai Shiranui from the Fatal Fury / King of Fighters roster.
Fast, deadly and still as beautiful as ever, Mai looks to be just as impressive here as she is in her 2D fighting game debuts.
Whoever was playing Mai in her original costume, was putting in that work. Savage beatdown on cheerleader Mai, sadly.
Mai Shiranui is set to join the Dead or Alive 5: Last Round for PS4 and Xbox One on September 13, 2016. And for everyone asking where is the PC version, there won’t be one.
Remember when Koei Tecmo asked the PC modding scene to not do anything in regards to modifying the character costumes, because they wanted to see them DLC? Well, no one listened and as such the PC lost out to any future Dead or Alive 5 content. Mai and anything going forth is strictly a PS4 and Xbox One affair.
