Microsoft, Remedy, and Nordic Games have announced that Quantum Break is now getting a Steam release, as well as a retail copy release. The Steam and retail versions will be released on September 14, 2016, and will be priced at $39.99.
Update: The Steam page is now live here. The pre-order and pricing are missing still.
Update 2: The Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition is up for pre-order over at Amazon.com. If you’re a member of Amazon Prime, the game only costs $31.99.
If you’re a video game collector or just like shiny stuff, then the retail version may the one for you. Entitled the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition, it includes the following:
- Premium packaging
- 5 Game Discs (one-time Steam key redemption required)
- Making of Blu-Ray
- Making of Book
- 1 Soundtrack CD (Audio-CD)
- 2 Posters
- Quickstart Guide
Thank you, Microsoft! One of my and many others requests is to push other Xbox Games on the PC to Steam. Sure, we get that you want to confine it to the Xbox Store and UWP, yet that seems to be mixed blessing.
