If you’ve picked up No Man’s Sky on the and have been running into issues regarding the game’s performance or have just been sitting back and waiting for a fix, you may be in luck. No Man’s Sky developer, Hello Games, has released their first post-release patch that addresses issues such as frame rate and stability. The release notes for the patch haven’t been released yet, so we don’t know exactly what changes were made,
The release notes for the patch haven’t been released yet, so we don’t know exactly what changes were made, @Sean Murray did point out that the patch does add support for more hardware on the PC, as well as bumping up the frame rate for lower end builds. On the PlayStation 4 front, the patch addresses stability and apparently a few other things.
Patch notes incoming but PC build adds support for more hardware + improves frame rate at low spec. PS4 improves stability + lots more :)

Due to the team currently working on issues that plague the PS4 and PC of the game, adding content to the game has been put on hold.
