Something old, something new…it’s sort of like Marriage, with this big announcement out of Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Capcom revealed the newest English trailer featuring the star members of the Wright Anything Agency, Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and the returning Athena Cykes. However, that’s not all the trailer reveals…
MAYA FEY IS BACK.
The current master of the Kurain Channeling Technique (and best girl of the Ace Attorney series,) makes her return to the Ace Attorney series since her departure after the events of Bridge to the Turnabout.
Maya is voiced by Abby Trott, the current voice actress for Kim Wu in Microsoft’s Killer Instinct.
Seems like a good time to say that I play Maya Fey in Ace Attorney-Spirit of Justice and I'm super excited about it! pic.twitter.com/J2BBKqodrt

Capcom touched on the return of Maya Fey to the Ace Attorney universe:
Returning series favorite Maya Fey makes her comeback, but all is not as it seems as she is soon directly caught up in a crime drama herself within the Kingdom of Khura’in, where she’s been in training. Having been reunited with her just before the drama ensues, it’s up to Phoenix to demonstrate his skills in the foreign courtroom to try and save his long-time friend and assistant. Will they both make it out alive?
Capcom also provided analysis of the main prosecutor for the game, Khura’in’s Nahyuta Sahdmadhi:
Last but not least, brand new to the series is pious prosecutor Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, a devout monk who [is often heard] admonishing his rivals with the Khura’inese phrase “Satorha!” He holds an international license to practice law, which allows him to prosecute both at home in Khura’in and abroad in America. Using his unique religious rituals, Nahyuta seeks justice for the victims of heinous crimes so that their souls may rest in peace.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice releases in September via the 3DS family Nintendo eShop.
