I never thought this day would happen, but here it is. Phil Spencer has announced that Gears of War 4 will be available on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. The title will feature cross-buy, cross-play for both the campaign horde modes and yes, even co-op game progression. That’s not all, as both platforms will also be able to play alongside each other in co-op mode! The Windows 10 version will also support up to 4K resolution, though no mention regarding the frame yet. I hope it’s going to be 60fps or even better, uncapped.

There’s also hardware that wasn’t shown off during the E3 2016 conference! To celebrate the launch of Gears of War 4, Microsoft has crafted a custom Xbox Elite One Gears of War 4 Limited Edition controller.
UPDATE: The pre-order for the Xbox Elite One Gears of War 4 Limited Edition controller is now live here.
