E3 2016 marks the second consecutive year that Bethesda has hosted their very own press conference at the event. With last year’s conference showing us titles like Fallout 4, Doom, and Dishonored 2, they had a lot to live up to. Here’s everything announced during the Bethesda E3 2016 conference:
- Quake: Champions announced and detailed, competitive multiplayer arena shooter developed by id Software, with more to come at QuakeCon in August. Read more here
- The Elder Scrolls Legends opening cinematic shown, coming to iPhones, Mac, and Android tablets and phones in addition to iPads. Read more here
- Next Fallout 4 DLCs detailed, with “Contraptions Workshop” hitting next week. Read more here
- Fallout Shelter update coming, also coming to PC in July
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition confirmed, coming October 28, 2016. Read more here
- Prey reboot announced, developed by Arkane, coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. Read more here
- Doom is getting loads of new content, including free SnapMap updates in the coming months, two new multiplayer modes next month, with more to come later this summer, and first premium DLC pack also coming next month
- First level of Doom is downloadable to play for free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this week only
- The Elder Scrolls Online received a retrospective trailer, game launches in Japan on June 23. Dark Brotherhood DLC announced and arriving this week, and changes are being made to the game in the form of One Tamriel update
- Bethesda VR initiative announced, with Doom and Fallout 4 to be supported on HTC Vive in 2017
- Dishonored 2 detailed with plenty of new gameplay footage, arriving November 11, 2016. Collector’s Edition announced, and pre-orders receive Dishonored: Definitive Edition for a limited time. Read more here
