The New Battlefield Game Is…..Battlefield 1

By Keith MitchellMay 6, 2016

Just not to long ago, EA and Dice took to the stage to announce the next Battlefield game. Took long enough, didn’t it? Previously there were a few rumors going around as to what the game was going to be called and of course someone, somewhere eventually leaked out the game. Yes, prior to the official announcement, EA and Dice’s steam was taken from them and the next Battlefield game, Battlefield 1, has been leaked.

Coming October 21, 2016, / early access as of October 18, 2016, if you preorder it .Apparently we’ll get to play it first on Xbox One and PC via EA access / Origin Access. Experience the Dawn of All-Out War, taking it back to the world’s very first major brawl. Not only will we have land based fights, but also vehicle-based and yes, even planes.

Update: Apparently we’ll even be able to use a freaking battleship during actual gameplay. Definitely, remember a certain Battlefield mod doing this before as well.
Update 2: Battlefield 1 is live on Battlefield.com.

So it seems like EA and Dice have been taking lessons from Microsoft when it comes to naming conventions. But all jokes aside, Battlefield 1 is our newest Battlefield title. And like the teaser image showed off yesterday, we are indeed going back in time, back to World War 1.

More news regarding Battlefield 1 to come as the info is released from the ongoing event. And if you haven’t been following the event, check it out at the following links.
